A SaaS consultancy recovered 20+ hours per week by replacing a manual blog and LinkedIn publishing process with a single-form, one-click-approval content pipeline.
A 15-person SaaS consultancy was publishing six blog posts per week across their website and LinkedIn. The volume was necessary — content was a primary inbound channel — but the operational cost was unsustainable. Every post required research, full body copy, a LinkedIn teaser, CMS formatting, and manual publishing across both platforms. At an industry average of nearly four hours per post, that was 20+ hours of skilled-team time per week absorbed entirely by mechanical, repeatable work. No off-the-shelf tool touched the research problem, which was the single biggest time cost per post. We built a four-phase automated content pipeline that handles every step between idea and published post. A team member fills out a form with a topic — that single action triggers the entire system and immediately logs a tracking row in Google Sheets. An AI agent then performs live web research before writing anything, grounding every post in current information rather than static training data, and returns a complete structured output in one pass: full blog post, meta description, LinkedIn teaser, hashtags, and CTA. A custom validation layer checks the AI output field by field, and if anything is malformed, the system retries automatically and logs the failure with no human intervention needed. The draft then surfaces in Slack with the title, description, LinkedIn teaser, preview image, and a link to the full Google Doc — three buttons give the reviewer full control: publish to both platforms simultaneously, publish to the website only, or regenerate from scratch. On approval, the system publishes, fires the LinkedIn API, and writes every live URL and timestamp back to the tracking sheet in real time. Each post now requires one form submission and one Slack button click — under 5 minutes of human involvement, down from nearly 4 hours. That recovers 20+ hours of skilled-team time every week. Every draft, approval, failure, and live URL is logged automatically in a single Google Sheet, giving the team full pipeline visibility with zero status-chasing across tools.
Best investment we made for the ops side of the business. We haven't touched the content pipeline manually since it went live.
